Trevi Fountain

I wanted to share some interesting details about the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Completed in 1762, this Baroque structure marks the end of an ancient Roman aqueduct dating back to 19 B.C. and features Oceanus surrounded by horses and Tritons. According to tradition, tossing a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand ensures a return trip to Rome. Additionally, all coins collected from the fountain are donated to local charitable causes.
